The Palace Theatre was opened between 1942 and 1943 and closed in 1958. The theater hosted B-rated western films and these were the only types of films it showed. The location was 126 W Depot street and along with the theater there was also the Palace Hotel. The hotel was one of five hotels that were located either on Depot Street or Main Street at this time. The genealogical library has no reference to it after the years of 1961.
